Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.


HR IT are supporting Scania with HR solutions, covering the whole lifecycle; from requirements, implementation projects to ongoing further development and maintenance. Scania’s business is changing over time and we are on a journey phasing out older applications and implementing new technology, replacing local solutions with a global way of working and a more consistent application landscape. Globalization, digitalization and mobility are examples of trends that are affecting our business environment.
To this team we are now looking for a new group manager.

Your work assignment
You will lead and distribute the work within the team and secure our deliveries. You will have personnel responsibility for approximately 15 employees. As a leader you work actively to coach your employees based on Scania’s values and principles and with individual performance and development. Working with clear objectives is a natural part for you and you are actively working to develop an effective team and a good cooperation with our colleagues both within IT and business. As a group manager for HR IT you are part of the departments management team.

Your profile
You should have good leadership skills, show passion, curiosity and determination to inspire people around you. Be communicative and have the ability to achieve results through others.
Creating business plans and roadmaps comes natural and you make sure to follow commitments with the business you support. Your stakeholder management skills are very good as you are expected to handle multiple business relations as well as coordinating several IT service delivery organizations to support your business. Being a group manager for HR IT means developing a wide network of contacts both within and outside of Sweden, therefore good knowledge of English is required.
