At Product Development IT (PD IT), we are responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of IT solutions. The work environment is international, and our employees are representing different nationalities and countries. The overall mission for the Architecture and Portfolio Management group is to support PD IT with long term architecture, portfolio planning, capacity planning and to ensure that new assignments can be handled within the PD IT organization. This group is also responsible to guide development teams in building long-term robust and scalable solutions.

We're now looking for a driven manager for the Architecture and Portfolio Management group to take on cross-functional IT-challenges within the PD-process. If you want to help define and drive the future of Architectural landscape as well as provide leadership and direction for a great team, then this might be the right job for you.
Your responsibilities
As a manager of Architecture and Portfolio Management your tasks typically are:

  • Motivating, engaging and developing your co-workers.
  • Lead the technology strategy within your area to enable development teams to reach new grounds.
  • Represent PD IT in various forums within the PD process.
  • Lead cross-functional assignments and create value streams with an agile mindset.
  • Coordinate the overall IT capacity planning process within the PD-area.
  • Work in the department management team.

Your profile
We would like to see that you have experience in leadership, agile development and architecture. Have knowledge within fields such as product development, CAD, PDM, product structures, aftersales, production, embedded systems. Can easily work independently; you are unafraid to take decisions.

You can easily create a vision for your area. Are good at communicating the organizations strategy and goals. Have the courage to test new ideas and have them tried in short iterations and continuously re-evaluate based upon the outcome.

You are curious about the business that we are supporting and work to build a strong network around you. You enjoy sharing your knowledge within the department; and bringing new ways of working to the development teams. You also understand that we now work in the TRATON Group and you see the advantages that this creates.
