Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania's success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

Globalization, digitalization and mobility are examples of trends that are affecting our business environment. We are increasing our ability to make use of our information assets and utilize new technology. New possibilities enable us to share data with each other, apply machine learning and artificial intelligence.

The work environment at Scania's IT department is international and our employees are representing many different nationalities and countries. To this exciting and dynamic environment we are now looking for a new colleague who can help us become even better and play a key role in our team.

As a developer you will be involved in requirement handling, understanding technical design specifications, development, testing and release handling. Furthermore Javascript/Ajax, HTML, CSS, JQuery, Json and C# are used within the Apriso MES platform.

  • Interest in and wanting to know more about the manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Swedish
  • A university education within IT or equivalent experience

We expect applicants to be organized, driven and have a strong service-minded approach. To be successful in this role you will also need to have good communication skills and feel comfortable working closely with several parties within both IT and business. You are a team player, but also capable of working independently.
