The group and the project
The role is in a design group working in a project where the next generation of exhaust aftertreatment systems are being developed. We are now in a challenging and critical stage where our new platform will soon be ready for serial production, at the same time as the last deviations needs to be closed and new variants and adaptions are created. The technology is complex and the product is developed both for Scania trucks as well as for our worldwide colleagues within the Traton group.
The position is based at Scania Technical Centre in Södertälje in a group that today consists of with 10 designers and 1 object manager. The group is characterized by high competence, team spirit and the mindset of solving problems together as a team.
Your work assignments
You will be one of two object managers in the group working together. As an object manager you will be the link between the line organisation and concerned cross-functions - such as the project office, purchasing, production and other groups within R&D. Your main responsibilities will be to create and establish time plans, lead the cross-functional object group, communicate and follow-up our deliveries. You will also have a tight collaboration with other object managers, both within the group and at adjacent objects.
I am looking for you who are a graduated engineer, or equivalent, and you have a couple of years working experience, preferably within product development.
You are organized, strive to always be one step ahead and like to get things done. You are creative and always with a mindset that anything can be done. You have a wish to develop your leadership skills and enjoy creating networks, relations and team spirit within the group.
