Are you a brave and driven Product Owner?
We are looking for a brave and driven product owner that loves to create value for the users and thrives in a team oriented environment!
At Scania we take our responsibility to drive the shift towards a future that is better for everybody involved, both the business, society and the environment. We see that sustainable transports will be crucial in this journey. Global trends such as connectivity, autonomous and electrification will change the transport industry and at Connected Services & Solutions we are frontrunners. Today, all vehicles leaving our factories are connected, creating incredible opportunities for new services and improving existing ones. We rely heavily on the connected data, and with 400 000+ connected vehicles we have a LOT of data…
Our team has the important mission to simplify transport operations for our customer. How do we do that? By developing and improving services that make it easier for our customer to be on top of their operations in real time at all times. For example using geofences to alert the transport planner when a vehicle has entered a defined geographic area such as the warehouse where goods need to be delivered. We also have the tools to get the vehicle to adhere to pre-set rules for how fast its allowed to drive in the vicinity of the warehouse! Overall we strive to create services that make it easier for our customer to plan, monitor and follow-up their core business, transportation.
Your day to day work
You will work closely with the development team, mainly ensuring they have an suitable amount of prepared work to do. This means planning and prioritizing product features in the backlog and continuously develop the product. You will also research and analyse market needs, the users requests and adapt the roadmap for the product. This also includes following our competitors and the industry.
What we do on a day to day basis directly influences the customer's business, making it very crucial to have our services up and running. Our services are extensively used so you will also work with user support and incident related activities.
As a PO you will provide the product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities to different stakeholders. This means working cross functionally within Scania together with other product owners, business managers and other departments ensuring we build and offer our customers a competitive service.
In addition to all of the above we provide fun and inspiring colleagues, in-house innovation days, relevant education, reduced working hours, and the Scania Job Express bus which will bring you from Stockholm to the front door of our office in Södertälje, just to name a few.
More about you
We believe you are great at interacting with customers, always seeing their needs and transforming them into real value. You are a brave person who doesn't focus on the obstacles thrown your way, but instead on how to learn from and overcome them, and your courage helps you to take and drive in a certain direction. Your curiosity drives your learning and openness towards seeing things from different perspectives. You should enjoy and see the benefits of working in a team. And we also expect you to be great communicator who can bridge the gap between technical details and business lingo.
We work in an exciting multicultural environment so you will be speaking English on a daily basis. We strongly believe that a diversity of perspectives, ideas and cultures lead to the creation of an inspiring work environment and first class services.
If you have experience from working with transport operations and software development that's a plus, but your go-getter attitude will be what is valued the most.
