Within collaboration we create processes and supporting IT solutions to enable cooperation within TRATON Group regarding product maintenance.

Taking the right decisions on all levels to deliver the highest value is continuously important within the TRATON Group. And performing the consequences analysis of specific actions will increase in difficulty as the context gets more complex and the information density increases.
At the same time receiving guidance when taking these decision will enable the work with continues improvements in the products to continue in an efficient and value adding way.

The purpose of the project is to evaluate how and when self-learning algorithms can be used to create decision support for the Global Product Team that is responsible for Collaboration product change management.

The project should end with a proposal how Scania can take the next step to support our business with decision support and requirements to take the first step.

  • Analyse the Global Product Team and its connected processes (Product change management, Failure Elimination and Non Conformity Allowance) and define what areas would be suitable to support with decision support created by self-learning algorithms.
  • Prioritize the areas based on impact for users, effort to create, availability to information/data and timing of implementation.
  • Define the requirements to perform a Proof of Concept for one area.
