Product Development Unit Packet Core (PDU PC) is an R&D unit with global presence. We develop mobile core network products and solutions with market leading functionality, crafted for efficient, reliable, and secure operations.

The Cloud Native and virtualized Packet Core portfolio addresses needs from traditional large-scale mobile broadband and communication services down to niche small-scale offerings. Packet Core develops the 5G Core portfolio, evolving architecture, cloud native, end-to end use cases and engaging in new market segments.

Product Development Group Solutions in PDU Packet Core, is now looking for an R&D Manager for our Core I&V unit.

The unit is responsible for end to end verification of the 5G Core solution, in close collaboration with Ericsson Radio Network and multiple mobile terminal vendors. The unit has a key role in securing the feature content of our 5G Core solution within Business Area Digital Services.

We are looking for a passionate leader, capable of operating in an environment of new and fast-moving technologies and trend-shifts. As R&D Manager, you will contribute to strategy creation, strategy execution and continued evolution of our offerings. You will be expected to quickly learn new technologies, adapt programs rapidly to changing business conditions and initiate and drive changes (such as processes, tools, culture and leadership) to improve customer satisfaction, quality, time to market, continuous learning and overall performance.
