Our Exciting Opportunity

Radio Software (SW) strives to be the most competitive Radio Network R&D unit in the industry. We develop and maintain high-quality Radio products which give our customers solutions securing future growth. We currently develop Long Term Evolution (LTE), Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA) and Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM), as well as Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) and 5G Network solutions to operators all over the world.

SE1 (Sweden1) Radio SW is part of the Product Development Unit Radio within Development Unit Networks. We are based in Stockholm (Kista) with operations also in Croatia.

We are now looking for new Operational Product Owner (OPO) in Radio SW to be part of our leadership team with initially focusing on our latest and greatest classic radio products platform - "Stockholm". You will have also the possibility to work with other RAs (Requirements Areas) when needed!

The role will be based in Kista, Sweden reporting to the Head of Radio SW.

You will

  • Work as the Main OPO for "Stockholm" platform
  • Be total Radio Software MR (Main Requirement) backlog owner and break down our MR
  • Control the MR status (overall Radio SW plan, scope, capability, priority, etc.)
  • Act as a Team Lead for all the team OPOs within the MR, and/or work as team OPO or Solution Package (SP) driver, when needed
  • Prioritize the backlog and make sure the teams fully understand the value to be delivered
  • Cooperate closely with our Area Product Owner, Strategic Product Manager, project managers, test managers and others


To be successful in the role you must have

  • A University degree (MSc or BSc) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven track record of working as OPO, or a software project manager
  • Product development knowledge with a good understanding of systemization, design and verification
  • Good Radio product knowledge and familiarity with RAN Software
  • Demonstrated leadership capability
  • Understanding of Agile and Lean methodologies
  • Outstanding communication skills and capability to build networks
  • Business and customer focus with high accountability to deliver results
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
