Business Area Networks (BNEW) where 5G was born - is accountable for the company's industry leading radio products and solutions and is the foundation for Ericsson's technology leadership!

Service Area Networks (SAN) Lab Operations is a part of BNEW, and we provide outstanding lab infrastructure, networks and hardware (HW) services to the R&D organizations across Ericsson. We are a global organization providing service deliveries from operations sites in China, Kista, Rosersberg, Linköping and regional labs globally.

Currently we are looking for a Building Operations Manager to ensure operations regarding real estate and critical environment function.

To succeed in this role, you need to have experience handling building and facility management operations of a Data Centre, hospital, pharmaceutical, process, automotive or similar background.

This role will be based in Stockholm, Rosenberg reporting to the Manager Stockholm (STO) Building Operations and Site Engineering (OPS & SE).

You will

  • Handle the operations in the Rosersberg site, reporting to Group Function Real Estate (GRE) and to SAN Lab OPS & SE
  • Manage the budget, forecasting, plans of future growth
  • Be responsible for change, capacity and process management
  • Supervise the facility management supplier's operation and maintenance activities
  • Take care of incident management and subsequent investigation to establish root cause analysis
  • Manage the staff, both in-house and external suppliers to deliver a highly focused client service
  • Identify ways of improvements, maximize value, minimize cost, risk and downtime
  • Ensure the maintenance of accurate plant records, information and reporting systems

To be successful in the role you must have

  • A University degree (MSc or BSc) in Engineering or equivalent
  • Previous experience working as Engineering Operations Manager in data center, or similar, critical services
  • Proven record of success in a 24 / 7 /365 operating environment
  • Knowledge of the current legislation and required standards relating to safe working practices
  • Demonstrated leadership capability
  • Data center certification (e.g. ITIL) or Certified Data Center Facilities Operations Manager (CDFOM)
  • Outstanding communication skills and capability to build networks
  • Business and customer focus with high accountability to deliver results
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
