Interested in joining the Data Enablement Office? Ericsson's Data Enablement Office (DEO) has developed a data strategy that will empower data users across the company! The data strategy envisions:
  • Democratize data and break down silos to enable seamless access to a broad data set
  • Create clear accountability for data and ensure focus on business-relevant use cases
  • Improve data quality to foster trust and reliability

This vision will be achieved through a data operating model that encompasses processes, roles & responsibilities, technology, tools and ways of working to help translate the data strategy into value creation.

A critical priority for Ericsson is to ensure that high-quality data is available to run our business and meet our customers' needs. The Ericsson Data Enablement Office was established to define a central data strategy and support core data used across Ericsson. The DEO works with the Business, Market Areas and Group Functions to deliver an effective operating model to ensure sound management of our data.

To drive this change, we are looking for a highly motivated and determined Data Architect who will be responsible for supporting Data Domain teams in activities requiring data architecture knowledge (e.g., mapping of data lineage) and for defining and maintaining principles for the data target architecture.

In this role, you will report directly to the Head of the Data Enablement Office and the position will be based out of Kista, Stockholm.

You will

Within Support
  • Provide guidance in navigating the systems landscape and systems access information
  • Provide guidance and support Data Stewards in Data Lineage when it comes to identifying upstream systems
  • Provide guidance and support to Data Stewards in identifying Single Source of Truth

Within Target data architecture
  • Synthesize requirements into data guiding principles and target data architecture at company level (incl. data ingestion)
  • Support formulating realization of the target data architecture and tool selection (incl. data management tools)
  • Consolidate compliance of data target architecture
  • Coordinate and facilitate the definition of the company-wide target data architecture

Within Governance
  • Supervise compliance of realizations to target data architecture
  • Report and raise maturity level breeches of the realizations of target data architecture to the Data Council (via the Head of the DEO)
  • Raise conflicts of realizations with the approved target data architecture to the Data Council
  • Maintain organization-wide portfolio of source system and architecture initiatives

To be successful in the role you must have

  • 5+ years of experience in IT, with industry knowledge
  • Very good Data architecture and IT knowledge
  • Excellent leadership experience in an enterprise or cross-organizational role
  • Good interpersonal communication and persuasion skills
  • Solid project management leadership
