5GC Test Automation Developer

We are currently looking for a skilled, creative and motivated developer to join our Test Automation Framework team in the PDU Packet Core organization!

This team (team Orange) consists of developers with a broad understanding of our test environment and strategy. The team is responsible for the development, maintenance and support of the JCAT based automated test framework used for testing of packet core products, as well as supporting tools and applications. The team works according to agile principles with a close collaboration with their Operational Product Owner.

Responsibilities & Tasks
  • Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.
  • Develop, test, and review new features, modifications and bug fixes.
  • Perform troubleshooting and support.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of products, tools and processes.

  • have a talent for software development and computer systems. You enjoy discussion and are comfortable about sharing your knowledge.

  • are experienced with Scrum or similar methodologies, and understand its importance for the team, the product, and the customer.

You have:
  • Proficiency in both Java and Python
  • Experience with programming Bash
  • Good command of Linux, working with high performance Linux applications
  • Networking and IP knowledge/experience
  • Good documentation and presentation skills
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
  • Experience with Git

What makes you stand out:
  • Experience in JCAT or similar test automation
  • Knowledge on Containers, docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes
  • Experience with development or testing at Packet Core
  • You have experience with working according to Scrum and can assist teams in their Agile and Scrum journey

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
  • 3 years professional experience as a Software Developer or tester
  • MSc level in a technical field or the equivalent level of knowledge
  • Good English language skills, both verbal and written
