Ready for a new challenge as a Software Architect for end-to-end automation?

Then this might be the chance you are looking for as we are strengthening our existing automation team!

The Software Architect will be a key contributor in our system test team. This team is responsible for both manual and automated end-to-end test of Ericsson Charging's BEAM based BSS offering.

As Software Architect you will be leading and driving the evolution of our existing automation framework as well as implementing and guiding colleagues in the team. As responsible for a sustainable technical architecture also having good knowledge in modelling and its visualization.

The successful candidate has extensive interest and programming skills in general and Java specifically. Orderly, used to taking lead, good communicating skill and encourage team collaboration.

We work in a distributed team with colleagues mainly in Karlskrona and Brazil. We adopt Agile way of working in which continuous improvement and innovation is part of the daily work. We must all therefore have a learning and creative mentality begin adaptable as well as friendly and empathic.

You will:

  • Lead and participate in software implementations, ensuring code quality.
  • Ensure implementation is based on a sustainable technical architecture.
  • Drive evolution of the test automation framework.
  • Secure a prioritized backlog with business value and estimate.


To be successful in the role you should have:

  • Master's or Bachelor´s Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
  • High interest or experience in Software Testing and Software Craftmanship
  • Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Java programming.
  • Experience in scripting, e.g. Python, shell
  • Experience in Linux environments and tools like Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Maven etc.
  • Organizational and leadership skills


Meriting if have a proven experience of software architecture or Ericsson internal test frameworks as JIVE, JCAT or AAT.
