Our Exciting Opportunity

Ericsson's Program Office team belongs to the Global Competence Center in Group IT (GIT). We are located in 7 different countries, and we deliver projects for internal partners, mainly IT and some core business in the regions. We are running very valuable and interesting programs for Group IT.

We are now looking for an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Project Manager (PM) to lead a project organization for a limited period of time towards its goal in terms of scope, time, costs, and quality in accordance with the agreement made with the project sponsor!

The position will be based in Sweden (Kista preferably) and will report to the Head of Program Office.

You will

  • Establish project plan baseline and drive project execution
  • Ensure that a contract for products and/or services is delivered to the satisfaction of Program sponsor and Ericsson
  • Handle internal and external customer as well as partners engagement
  • Record details and clarify the project scope
  • Secure the necessary resources
  • Manage project finance and develop the business
  • Run classic and Agile projects


To be successful in the role you must have

  • A University degree (MSc or BSc) or equivalent
  • Previous project management experience gained within the Telecom/IT industry
  • Familiarity with IT processes and tools
  • Scrum Master knowledge and experience to drive Agile projects
  • Ability to deliver results and meet customers' expectations
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and capability to build networks
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken


Additional qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certification would be an advantage
  • Expertise within IT Security, Networks and communication technologies, Cloud and AI will be an asset
