Our Exciting Opportunity:

You will be joining the Connectivity Networks Unit in Standard and Industry Initiatives organization at Group Function Technology. We are responsible the strategy and coordination of Ericsson standardization activities in forums such as 3GPP and O-RAN.

You will have a chance to work with global technical leaders both internally and externally in a diverse multi-national environment, helping Ericsson to secure technology leadership and make sure we have the right scope, quality, time and cost for standardization.

In this position you will participate in international standardization meetings, setting Ericsson standardization strategies, evaluating our performance and identifying improvement areas. You will foster a creative and learning culture.

You will:

  • Drive and contribute to Ericsson technology and standardization strategy in network automation and management areas
  • Represent Ericsson in external forums
  • Supervise and mentor other standardization delegates
  • Develop standardization tools
  • Innovate
  • Report to Head of Connectivity Networks GFTL


To be successful in the role you must have:

  • At least five years of work experience in network automation or network management domain
  • Experience of international standardization (e.g. from 3GPP, ONAP or TM Forum)
  • Education of MSc, PhD or Licentiate degree in relevant area
  • Negotiation Skills
  • The capability to formulate strategies and concepts
  • Phenomenal analytical skills and the potential to acquire new knowledge and apply it in the job
  • Good communication skills in written and spoken English
  • A creative attitude and ability to work independently
  • Ability to drive new ways of working
  • Confidence in decision making and initiating actions
  • A will to work in close collaborations
  • Presenting & Communicating skills
