Our Exciting Opportunity

We are now looking for a Researcher to build and transfer technology competence to ensure technology leadership and profitable business for Ericsson by:

  • Contributing to Ericsson research activities
  • Developing novel concepts, solutions and algorithms with emphasizes on machine learning and computer architecture
  • Presenting prototypes, concept demonstrations and publications


You will

  • Represent Ericsson externally in the European ECSEL project ADACORSA.
  • Design and simulate accelerating hardware for parts of a perception pipeline in an autonomous drone operation
  • Develop and investigate evaluation tools, demonstrators or test beds for perception pipelines including semantic SLAM algorithms
  • Build new technical solutions and protect them with Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
  • Participate in innovation workshops to come up with new concepts


To be successful in the role you must have

  • PhD or Licentiate degree, or MSc with work experience relevant to above tasks
  • Knowledge of computer architecture design, preferably accelerating hardware
  • Be acquainted to semantic SLAM algorithms
  • Project Management experience is considered positive
  • Solid analytical skills and ability to acquire new knowledge,
  • Good communication skills in written and spoken English
