If you are interested in working with state-of-the-art designs and technologies, working with skilled designers from different disciplines, then this is a real opportunity for you. You will work in a diverse international environment in close cooperation with other design sites across the world.

We are now looking for an ASIC DFT Engineer, for our ASIC development. Are you an experienced DFT engineer that is passionate about ASIC development, from IP all the way up to system level, and enjoys the freedom to drive methodology to ensure full success? Are you quality conscious and prone to drive smarter ways of working? Do you have a career of programming behind you in both RTL and scripting?

You will also take part in the ASIC Backend & STA activities, to ensure coming digital ASICs are performing per requirements and that it is introduced into coming product development programs according to the plans.

Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • BSc or MSc level in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other equivalent education.
  • At least 5 years of work experience.
  • Good understanding of VHDL or System Verilog.
  • Strong understanding of ASIC design flow and DFT/memory BIST/BSCAN/TAP - DFT Architecture
  • Knowledge on Scan and MBIST insertion - Scan implementation
  • Experience in handling analog blocks during Scan - Isolation
  • Experience in pattern generation - compressed and uncompressed ATPG generation/MBIST patterns generation
  • Worked with Scan Coverage analysis and debug
  • Contribute to SCAN, MBIST and JTAG timing constraints/analysis
  • Experience in gate level simulations - timing and no-timing
  • Worked with Post silicon debug and support
  • Experience from Static Timing Analysis and timing sign off
  • Experience of EDA tools for Synthesis & Timing/Area/Power closure
  • Knowledge in scripting languages (Python, Perl, TCL, Linux Shell scripting etc.)
  • Experience from UNIX/Linux
  • Very good communication and presentation skills in English
  • Quality-consciousness

Following experience will be a beneficial asset

  • Low Power knowledge, UPF
  • Multi/Many Core CPU Architecture Knowledge a plus
  • Experience from source code repositories such as Clear Case and Git
  • Experience with Synopsis Spyglass, Primetime, Design Compiler & Formality
  • Knowledge about mobile communication standards is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of floor planning and physical implementation is an advantage
