In Radio products Sweden 1 product, systemization department, we work in different technical and functional areas to cover the total radio functionality within the radio product portfolio for Ericsson: covering 4G, 5G and the future.

The system lead role is involved in all development activities such as: requirement analysis, architecture design, functional design, system design, hardware & software design, integration, verification, product lifecycle management support and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

As a System Leader you will break down high-level market and internal requirements into product requirements that can be realized in the next generation of radio development projects. You will work together with experts in telecommunication industry globally, and lead a cross-functional team.

Supporting development projects in definition and documentation of product requirements enabling the product to reach defined performance and cost objectives on the solution for customer release.

You will:

  • Be responsible for Project management.
  • Take ownership of people leadership, developing robust, highly engaged teams, and individuals.
  • You will drive strategic technical leadership.
  • Cooperate and align with relevant parts in own and other PDUs.
  • Interact with Product Management and technical specialists to define the product requirements.
  • Coordinate the definition and documentation of product requirements and specifications to meet future technical challenges and cost objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvements of products and processes.
  • Participate in technical studies and product development projects.
  • Lead multi-functional team during development phases to secure product release with good quality, short TTM and competitive cost.
  • Take ownership of the product release management, plan and prepare market release of radio products & documentation.
  • Perform trouble shooting and customer support.

To be successful in the role you must have:

  • Masters or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering/ Data communication, or equivalent level of knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability working with System/Software/Hardware development is required.
  • Proven significant experience leading development teams and networking skills.
  • Excellent technical communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Be self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Innovating, adapting, and responding to change.
  • Understanding standards.
  • Proficiency in English, speaking, reading and writing.

Beneficial to have:

  • Systemization work experience.
  • Product development and product lifecycle management knowledge within wireless communications and radio products.
