As the tech firm that created the mobile world, and with more than 54,000 patents to our name, we've made it our business to make a mark. When joining our team at Ericsson you are empowered to learn, lead and perform at your best, shaping the future of technology. This is a place where you're welcomed as your own perfectly unique self, and celebrated for the skills, talent, and perspective you bring to the team. Are you in?

Come, and be where it begins.

Our Exciting Opportunity

Ericsson's Mission-Critical Application (MCA) offers managed group communication such as push-to-talk, text, file and video to Public Safety and Emergency Service organizations. Push-to-talk provides the ability to broadcast voice communication to many Publics Safety professionals, in a much faster way than normal one-to-one phone calls. Such communication capabilities enable First Responders to save lives, reduce suffering, and prevent unnecessary property damage.

Public Safety organizations worldwide are modernizing their communication from legacy Land Mobile Radio to Mission Critical push-to-talk over LTE/5G. These Mission Critical Applications will enable new revenue streams for telecom operators. New networks and solutions are emerging right now and will evolve into one of the most important use cases for 5G.

We are now looking for a Program Manager Agile Development for our development of Mission-Critical Applications!

When joining Ericsson MCA, you will be part of a global development team with the ambition to deliver a word-class Mission-Critical offering for the future. We have development teams at our sites in Sweden, Spain and India, both own staff and suppliers.

You will
  • Define project scope and schedule regular and timely delivery of value.
  • Proactively manage and mitigate risk.
  • Continuously resolve issues and manage deviations from plans.
  • Facilitate internal communication and efficient collaboration.
  • Encourage an environment where the teams are empowered and take ownership.
  • Remove obstacles for teams while holding them accountable for their commitments.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders' expectations.
  • Support product owners in managing stakeholder expectations on project deliverables.
  • Champion process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile project management.

To be successful in the role you must have
  • Expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices. These skills should be based on 5-10 years' equivalent work experience.
  • Highly developed knowledge in software development based on Lean and Agile principles.
  • Ability to investigate and solve complex problems by developing existing procedures, techniques, and methods.
  • The persistence to secure that tasks are completed.
  • A passion for teamwork, and the ability to successfully collaborate across organizational borders in a multinational environment.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
