We are now looking for a senior leader in order to strengthen and maintain the PDU (Product Development Unit) Packet Core S&T (Packet Core System and Technology). The unit drives the Technology Evolution in the Packet Core domain. The mission is to transform industry trends, concepts, ideas, and innovations into business opportunities for PDU PC and for Ericsson.

You will

  • Manage, organize and facilitate the execution of our system studies
  • Coordinate our efforts for PC standardization at Packet Core S&T
  • Coordinate with other 5G related programs on SA and PDU level i.e. the 5G Ready Core Architecture program and our 5G Development and Prototyping program
  • Coordinate and drive resourcing of studies and tender support together with the PC S&T leadership team
  • Drive the improvement of the way of working of the standardization and study work at PDU PC S&T
  • Act as an interface towards other standardization teams
  • Follow up of status on ongoing activities including sprint planning
  • Arrange sessions for the design organizations on topics emerged from the standardization work to share knowledge
  • Plan resources using Replir towards PDU PC S&T line
  • Drive and implement changes in our way of working to adapt to the future needs

To be successful in the role you must have

  • MSc education and at least 5 years project management experience in a technical environment
  • Experience of leading change management
  • Experience of Packet Core product development, research, or system engineering
  • Good competence and interest in 3GPP protocols and procedures
  • Good knowledge about 3GPP standards
  • Ability to manage to drive your work tasks independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • A positive "can-do" attitude!

You are a curious person with a holistic view that likes to work with exciting tasks where decisions often need to be taken based on information from different partners and investigations. Furthermore, you enjoy working at the forefront with new technologies and understand that business decisions sometimes impact the technical solution.
