Our Exciting Opportunity

Every time you use an app on your smartphone, talk over VoLTE or use Mobile Broadband you connect to internet, this connection is what we at Ericsson Packet Core enable.

Packet Core Product Introduction Deployment & Support (PC PIDS) department is responsible for handling global Customer Engagements and Customer Leads including introducing the latest SW versions to the market, providing support and maintenance to secure the success of our customers. Our main focus is to support customer projects and live operations as well as providing crucial feedback and experience to our design organizations as part of building future products and solutions.

As our product portfolio continues to develop and our customers are in the early transition to 5G, there is huge demand to support existing Evolved Package Gateway (EPG) and Mobility Management Entity (MME) products in addition to Packet Core Controller (PCC) and Packet Core Gateway (PCG), which are the newly developed 5G products in our portfolio. To support our challenge going forward we need to further strengthen our PIDS Program Office with additional Customer Engagement Leaders!

You will

  • Lead Product Introduction activities and Customer Engagements, including key customers (‘Top 25'), First Live Validation ('FLV') and First Feature Implementation ('FFI') and similar
  • Coordinate ‘Customer Leads' to secure business opportunities and contracts
  • Engage as a leader in tactical and strategic work, drive improvements as well as visualizing future requirements and mentoring others towards success
  • Be responsible for securing efficient, timely and swiftly Product Introduction and Customer Engagement activities with the right quality to ensure successful deployments in customer live networks or similar requirements
  • Be working in a group of experienced peers setting up smaller teams with technical competence and collaborate with colleagues and customers worldwide
  • Teach, mentor, challenge and develop individuals, teams, organizations and yourself. You will foster a creative and learning culture contributing to building our future


To be successful in the role you must have

  • Education: M.Sc. or equivalent
  • Min 5 years of experience within Ericsson Product Development Organization, Product Management, Customer Units and/or Service Delivery Units incl. ways of working
  • Good 3G, 4G and 5G knowledge
  • A positive and service minded demeanor, willingness to always act with speed and finding the solution going forward
  • Highly developed project/program management skills with an innovative and solution-oriented mindset also contributing to improvements and strategy building
  • English communication skills and presentation skills ensuring the very best interaction on all levels' incl. higher management and in customer meetings
  • Excellent leadership skills incl. collaboration and cooperation!
