Our Great Opportunity

As Line Manager within Functional Area Solution Verification in Product Development Unit (PDU) Business Support Systems (BSS), you will report to the Head of Functional Area (FA) Solution verification and be a member of the FA Leadership Team. You will be responsible for a global organization and the execution of verification of functional correctness and Dual mode which today comprise of different Solution Verification.

As a senior leader and a member of the Leadership Team, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong ability to innovate, collaborate, communicate and be result-oriented, problem solver in a highly fast-paced global organization.

As a Line Manager in Solution Verification, you will lead a global Team with own staff and suppliers. You will set structures and way of working to support ongoing projects, scaling of the business and operations. Closeness to our key partners is important and you should expect a tight collaboration with other organizations.

You will

  • Execute a verification backlog with agreed scope, timelines and budget.
  • Act as an interface point between Solution Architecture, Product owners and Service Delivery towards verification, OJT and DVA activities.
  • Manage a team of approximately 20+ people within the Solution Verification unit, towards the common goal of a robust verification approach.
  • Promote and drive key quality and verification metrics within the unit and across the participating products of the Product Development Groups.
  • Establish lean and stable structures that support further scaling of the business and operations
  • Removing team impediments and improving ways of working
  • Nurture people's personal and professional growth within your unit
  • Encourage collaboration between your teams and other teams within FA, and across PDU
  • Secure that the organization has what it needs to contribute to our operations
  • Recruit, staff and grow competence of your unit as per business needs

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Driven by passion and seeks high personal development; willing to groom into this role.
  • Master's or Bachelor´s Degree related to Software Engineering or similar experience.
  • A minimum of 5+ years knowledge in People Leadership from the Software Development industry.
  • Knowledge in Test strategies, CI/CD and test automation
  • Change leadership skills, seek to continuously improve
  • Proven track record to drive team engagements and act in a time critical environment.
  • Ability to collaborate across organizational borders and in a multinational environment
  • Strong skills in verbal and written communication and making people work together cross products and teams, as well as strong change management capabilities and experiences.
  • Great abilities to present and adapt presentations to the intended audience, e.g. bridge and adapt technical insights from within the project to senior management.
  • A great interest to mentor and make people perform at their best.
