We want to grow our team within cloud, microservice, cyber security and the next generation network competences. We are establishing Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Microservices teams. All changes aim to increase our efficiency in developing and releasing new capabilities and services, and create an organization characterized by expert knowledge, business value outcome and innovation. We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Manager for Network Security and Connectivity EMEA/APAC team within Global Competence Center at Ericsson.

Responsibilities:

As Manager for Network Security & IP Connectivity EMEA/APAC team within IT Competence Hub Sweden you will be joining our IT Global Competence Center, a part of Ericsson's IT organization, which is here to ensure we have the right competence within the latest IT technologies. Your role will be to strengthen our in-house capabilities for digital technologies and design thinking and build up competence in areas such as Network Security, Wide Area Network (WAN), Cloud and more. Competence Hub Sweden consist of ~160 skilled individuals, but is growing, and includes a range of roles such as IT Architects, developers, engineers, program-, project managers etc.

This role is primarily to be based in the Ericsson headquarter office in Kista, outside Stockholm. But this might change why we welcome applications from outside Sweden. At the headquarter in Kista you will share office with a diverse and highly competent group of IT colleagues who work to support Ericsson's internal and external landscape, your team will primarily be in Sweden, USA and Germany but might expand to other locations. With colleagues and stakeholders spread around the world there will be a lot of global interactions for you and your team and there may be some need for travel. As a manager you will coach the team to perform at their best. In our ever-changing environment, we need leaders and teams who dare to challenge the current, simplify the complex and care for our co-workers, customers, and our society.

You will be part of the Competence Hub Sweden Leadership team and report to Head of Competence Hub Sweden.

Qualifications:

  • Education: MSC, MBA or equivalent through experience
  • Proven strong leadership
  • Result-oriented and able to structure and prioritize tasks and establish common goals
  • Understands business value and committed to enable value delivery
  • Experience from Consulting business
  • Strong communicator
  • Experience in establishing new teams
  • Experience in managing global teams
  • Experience from working with Agile methodologies
  • Experience from working with Strategy definition and execution
  • Experience in establishing teams, processes, methodologies, and Roles & Responsibilities
