Our Exciting Opportunity

We are searching for an experienced leader to manage a team of developers in our Core Network development unit. Are you a passionate leader, capable of dealing with new and evolving technologies and trend-shifts? Are you interested taking part of building the 5G Core System based on the most sophisticated technologies? If the answer is yes, this role might be for you!

The Solutions organization consists of approx. 80 employees in four sections and is responsible for the definition, implementation, validation, and release of the Ericsson 5G Core Solution on different cloud platforms.

This position is placed in the Solution Design and System Management unit which consists of some 20 System Managers and Product Owners.

You will

  • Lead the team of System Managers in the Core Solution Development Program. The team is distributed at Lindholmen in Sweden, at Aachen in Germany and at Shanghai in China
  • Lead, using the competence of the team, in transforming the WoW of the System Management into a structured, efficient and scalable way. For example, how to work with Solution Requirements
  • Set up and drive processes for the long-term planning and roadmap update together with the Product Owner community
  • Build a team of the System Managers, you will foster a team spirit and a collaboration environment over the sites. Important values: One Team, Belonging, Collaboration
  • Initiate alignment of the different Solutions (platform tracks) when needed. Avoid sub optimization of individual tracks. Aim for "System Integrity"
  • Be involved in growing the team competence
  • Have a Long-Term focus that is balanced towards the Mid and Short-Term focus

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Excellent leadership skills, especially within project management
  • Passion for building team sprit
  • High skills in working structured and systematically
  • Belief in and be an advocate for a Speak Up Culture
  • Good understanding of (the Ericsson way of) releasing solutions/SW
  • Understanding of requirement management and testing strategy
  • Deep knowledge of Lean & Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge in Cloud technologies, Virtualization
  • Experience from SW development and testing
  • Excellent Project and Program Management Skills
  • Coaching & Mentoring skills and ability to grow people
  • Excellent communication skills!
