Our Exciting Opportunity

Mission Critical Applications (MCA) will enable new revenue streams for operators. Networks and solutions are emerging right now and will evolve into one of the most important use cases for 5G. New network functions are being developed all over the Ericsson portfolio and needs to be E2E verified including functions like, local redundancy and hardening of network.

When joining the MCA you will be part of one of our global development teams! Apart from Gothenburg where the System management and e2e verification are based we have teams located in Stockholm, Mumbai and Barcelona.

What we are now looking for is a MCA System Test Engineer, to test the complete E2E Solution including network, device and applications!

You will
  • Integrate and verify new features of a complex end to end network
  • Plan and execute agreed test scope with stakeholders
  • Interact with relevant Test Environment organizations
  • Actively contribute to the lab optimization
  • Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.
  • Develop and test high quality products, including applicable test tools
  • Perform Feature, Performance, Stability and Security Testing
  • Perform trouble shooting and provide customer support
  • Work with continuous improvements of products and processes
  • Implement Test Automation

To be successful in the role you must have
  • MSc or equivalent in relevant field
  • Experience of node/network level system test or preferably E2E solution test. IP Transport, Packet Core, IMS, push to talk, vRAN/Cloud-RAN, Private Networks, Fixed Wireless Access
  • Experience of trouble shooting in virtual environments
  • Knowledge within Product development and Product Lifecycle Management
  • Flexibility and be adaptable to changes
  • Track record of meeting customer expectations and results
  • Experience in virtualized environments such as CentOS, VMware and RHOS
  • Experience of protocols such as SIP, RTP, Diameter (SAPC/PCRF)
