Our Exciting Opportunity

DevOps is the combination of cultural philosophies, practices, and tools that increases an organization's ability to deliver applications and services at high velocity. Under a DevOps model, development and operations teams are no longer "siloed." Sometimes, these two teams are merged into a single team where the software developers work across the entire application lifecycle, from development and test to deployment to operations.

Ericsson Global IT has built a centralized team with the mission of developing common tooling and automation to tackle problems that every development team has!

We are now looking for an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Architect in the realm of Cloud DevOps.

The position will be based in Kista, Sweden reporting to the Product Area Manager of Hybrid Cloud.

The ideal candidate is passionate about improving developer productivity and operational efficiency by developing cutting edge DevOps tools and techniques. You are able to operate with minimal supervision and are good at establishing relationships with peer teams and collaborate professionally to accomplish our goals. You are customer focused and engage with empathy.

You will

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Cloud Operations colleagues to build Continuous Integration (CI)/ Continuous Deployment (CD) tools and applications
  • Provide production and development support for the CI/CD tools and applications
  • Be managing, implementing and executing large-scale Enterprise DevOps in a Cloud Native environment
  • Contribute to code reviews, design reviews & technical presentations


To be successful in the role you must have

  • A University degree (MSc, MBA) or equivalent with a minimum of 7+ years of experience with full lifecycle development using Go-Lang/Java
  • Expert experience with implementing GitOps using CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, and/or Azure DevOps
  • Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with Helm.
  • Demonstrates mastery in architecting and developing highly complex CI/CD solutions at an enterprise level supporting on-premise, cloud, legacy application development and integration
  • Extensive understanding and experience with designing and developing software with Go, Java, Node.js, Python
  • Experience identifying requirements, researching options, designing and implementing solutions at a leadership level
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to build networks
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
