In the system team we are looking for a skilled Radio Solution System Developer to contribute to Ericsson Radio technology growth, where 5G is part of the journey!

In Ericsson Radio, Product system department, we work in different technical and functional areas to cover the total radio functionality within the whole radio product portfolio for Ericsson, covering 4G, 5G and the future.

The Radio Solution System Developer role is to secure that our Radios fits in Ericsson Radio System (ERS). The actual radio is a piece in the puzzle, so it needs to be prepared, e.g., for deployment in different site scenarios, support different power solutions and Radio Access Network (RAN).

Your role will include development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, hardware design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. We are organized in cross functional development teams in where continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

You have an experience from systems development and are interested in understanding how it all fits together to ensure an overall good solution. It is beneficial if you have working experience within hardware or systems design. You know how to break down complex problems and solve them and how to explain so that more people can understand. You are organized and self-motivated and able to turn ideas into solutions.

You will

  • Be responsible for people leadership, engaging teams and individuals.
  • Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.
  • Manage definition of product requirements and specifications to meet future technical challenges.
  • Participate in product development projects.
  • Support product release management.
  • Interact both locally and globally with Strategic Product Management (SPM) and technical experts to define product requirements.
  • Evolve the system-level design to meet the product requirements.
  • Drive and participate in RAN and ERS level system-related technical studies.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • General competence in project WoW and processes.
  • Proven experience leading development teams and networking skills.
  • Good technical communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Self-motivation with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Can-do attitude.
  • Good command of English.

Beneficial to have:

  • Systemization work experience.
  • Experience within HW design, Base band (BB), RAN & Site.
  • Customer site installation understanding/experience.
  • Competence of Radio and Site Products.
