Our Exciting Opportunity

Development System and Environment (DSE) is part of BA Digital Services R&D, Portfolio and Strategy.

We create and manage a compelling state of the art Development Flow and Development Environment that give Ericsson a competitive advantage in 5G and Cloud Native.This will enable continuous and secure, design, integration, test, delivery and deployment of solutions, network functions and µ-services.

We are now looking for a Cloud Lab Integration and Test Engineer to join one of our Engineering Service Teams (EST) to provide and maintains the development environment for one of the BA Digital Services R&D Unit - PDU Cloud. This role is based in Stockholm (KI site) and will be part of an energetic and highly skilled team

This position reports to the Head of DevOps.

You will

  • Work on the installation/configuration, monitoring, optimizing and tuning of the infrastructure
  • Study the impacts of the system and write technical documentation
  • Prepare and verify test environments in conjunction to developing test simulators and automation
  • Perform tests of IT systems and define test strategies
  • Perform trouble shooting and customer support
  • Provide HW, SW, Node, Infrastructure, Tools and Access Services
  • Handle support tickets, operations, upgrades and updates
  • Develop and test high quality products
  • Develop competence in technical domain
  • Drive continuous improvements of products and processes


To be successful in the role you have

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree or extensive experience in related area
  • Strong knowledge about PDU Cloud products BSP/EBS, HDS/SDI, SDN and CEE
  • Strong knowledge about Ericsson Engineering Cloud (E2C)
  • Good knowledge about IP allocation, FW and L2X, L3X switch configuration
  • Experience of Linux and Windows environment
  • Experience in troubleshooting and setting up IPv4 and IPv6 network and services
  • Experience in configuring Juniper/Cisco devices
  • Experience of firewall configurations
  • Experience in administration/configuration of "traffic-generators", IXIA or Spirent, run-time environment (user access etc.)
  • Experience in creating/configuring virtual end-user environments (e.g. WMware)
  • Knowledge about Active Directory
  • Ease at working with people and networking skills
  • Innovating, adapting and responding to change approach
  • Planning and organizing skills
