Our Exciting Opportunity

Development System and Environment (DSE) is part of BA Digital Services R&D, Portfolio and Strategy. We create and manage a Compelling State of the Art Development System and Development Environment (design, test and deploy) that give Ericsson a Competitive Advantage. We are now looking for an experienced Capability Manager to join one of our key programs named Shared Telcom Services (STS) which is a global program with the main responsibility to provide compelling services of Telco Applications and E2E Networks, Setting up the environment for 5G integration and verification, provide remote infrastructure to Ericsson regions and external parties/partners, and deliver Installation/Configuration/Integration services for applications to different organizations. The program is located across several geographic areas (Sweden, Germany, Spain, Canada, Ireland, Italy, etc..) and covers several domains like Cloud, IMS/VOLTE, UDM, Packet Core, Mobile Core, OSS/BSS, Radio and Optical Network. This role is based in Stockholm (KI site) and will be part of an energetic and highly skilled multinational team.

The Capability Manager main responsibility to review, analyze and report the Financial Progress and deliver actionable advice and recommendations based on findings to drive financial performance of the program, coordinate and drive the financial planning process of an Ericsson organization (including forecast) in the short to medium term in accordance with global standards and involved on a high level with the operational and technology related areas. we prefer a candidate that have a solid competence and experience within the financial/Controller area and curious about learning on a high level the program technology areas

This position reports to the Head of DevOps.

You will

  • Develop business and technical understanding within the STS program domains
  • Manage the program frame with respect to resources, people, baselines, budget and cost recovery
  • Manage the program installed base (~10 sites) and drive mitigation actions
  • Drive price setting and cost mapping towards operational teams
  • Drive activities in conjunction to forecasting cycles (F0, F4, F7,F10)
  • Responsible for assignment towards the invoice (Gearbox) team, including processes and WoW
  • Participate as per need in financial discussions with users and partners
  • Chair monthly STS Capability Forum Meeting
  • Manage and spread information coming from BA Digital Services lead Capability Managers


To be successful in the role you have

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree or extensive experience in related area
  • At least 7 years in relevant position, preferably in Finance and/or Operations
  • Accounting & Reporting experience in a project environment
  • Understanding of Global ICT Centers (GIC's), Verification Ceneter Lab (VC's), Ericsson Engineering Cloud (E2C) and Ways of working
  • Understanding of Ericsson Financial flows
  • Driving approach, preferably with a Project Manager background or other Leadership experiences
  • Problem solving attitude with an open cooperating mind-set
  • Experience with the tools: eStart, Hydra, Equipman, Gamma (Investment Handler), Replir, Excel (Pivot's) and Powerpoint
  • Business understanding and understanding of local cultures in relevant CU's / geographies
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Project Management & Risk Management Skills
  • Ericsson Knowledge
