PDU CDS System is the department developing system solutions for Ericsson Radio base Station with the main focus on 5G. We develop Resource and Equipment Handling, IP Transport, Interconnect (fronthaul), Synchronization solutions and Architecture for all standards. We drive strategy and development plans for multi-standard Radio Based Station platform. We are working in teams and our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. Competence build-up is an important part of our daily work.

The resource handling area secures that we utilize the resources in the Radio Bases Station, from radio to transport interface, in the radio node in the best possible way to optimize the ease of use and performance for the customers. We are currently working with mostly with 5G in areas of IOT, Cloud, Advanced Antenna Systems, Massive MIMO, Beamforming and to handle the configuration complexity.

Responsibilities

For you who wish to develop or grow as system leader in our system team. We are all technical leaders working to develop the system solutions and requirements, with many opportunities for interesting and exciting tasks over time.

As a system technical leader you will drive and participate in solution studies and setting up technical requirements based on customer requests and product improvements. Work includes performing conceptual system studies to support business decisions and to take the responsibility for a specific solution. You will bring the costumer perspective into our design solutions in collaboration with strategic product owners. Also you will cooperate with designers in Software, Hardware and verification as well as other system developers.

To be successful in the role you must have:
  • Experience in telecommunications
  • The ability to plan and drive your own work, as well as work in teams
  • Good communication skills
  • Logical and orderly approach to analyze problems, prioritize work and plan actions
  • Positive approach for innovating, adapting, and responding to change
  • Master of Science degree
