Our Exciting Opportunity

Cloud Radio Access Networks seeks to work closely with our customers that are passionate about the delivery of virtualized Radio Access Networks solutions. We try to accelerate product development with new fresh thinking. We challenge established flow with new methodologies and are active in open-source communities.

As a Developer on our Continuous integration - continuous deployment (CI-CD/SI) and Test Competence Center team, you will be a key contributor to continuously improve quality assurance:

  • Vertically (from the hardware up to the microservices)
  • Horizontally (e2e control, user, management planes)
  • Systemically (performance, robustness, serviceability)

You will

  • Test tools strategy and selection
  • Test strategy and test environment
  • Work with CI/CD strategy and implementation
  • Be working with Deployment to CD customers
  • Ensure quality regarding software tracking and reporting
  • Work with key performance indicator quality assessment and reporting
  • Handle real-time data analytics from customer for CD customers
  • Software packaging and package delivery for classic customers

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Expert knowledge regarding 4G/5G RAN technical competence to evaluate content delivered by product development teams and identify systems characteristics verification strategy (including identifying test gaps, performing risk analysis, identifying, and proposing observability requirements/instrumentation needed to 'shift-left')
  • Expert knowledge in lab skills (defining test channels, integration skills, test tools skills, proven experience testing in E2E systems)
  • Expert knowledge and troubleshooting skills to deep-dive into customer and lab logs to identify root-cause of complex systematic issues
  • Excellent collaboration skills and also in organization, communication, active knowledge-sharing, and team playing skills
  • Excellent knowledge in conducting Hybrid Radio Access Networks (Cloud Radio Access Networks+multi-standard radio base station) system behavior verification of releases with minimal guidance and by being resourceful
  • Good knowledge of tools like Viavi (E500), Channel Emulators, Real UEs, CCN, beamforming tools considered a unique differentiator
  • Excellent knowledge of networking protocols with the ability to be self-reliant when debugging networking issues
  • Prior experience in test automation development, uplifting test cases and performing automated quality assurance via CI/CD pipeline enabling tools & AI/ML powered observability dashboards
  • Own operations pipeline (pipeline guardian, pipeline content responsible, test case responsible, test channel builds responsible, test channel maintenance responsible)
  • Cloud-native awareness and prior working knowledge will serve as a differentiator (Docker, K8s, Helm, ADP, microservices, Python, Java, Jenkins, GIT)
  • Change agent and driver of Cloud Radio Access Networks overall ambition of securing 10x10 efficiency in product development via several initiatives such as digital testing strategy, shift-left, DevOps, code instrumentation for advanced system monitoring on microservices level, utilizing AI/ML techniques, canary deployment
  • A bachelors or masters level degree in computer science or electrical engineering
  • Experience with multiple programming languages (e.g., C, MATLAB, Julia, Java, Python, Perl)
  • Expert understanding of the Linux ecosystem and with Linux kernel
  • Above average knowledge of cloud-native core principles, DevOps, ADP, microservices, K8S, Docker, Helm, CI/CD, React
