Within the Gateway organization we are now hiring a line manager to help our teams growing and to further strengthen our focus how we deliver value to our customers.

In this exciting role you will lead a unit of 15-20 leaders and engineers, mostly located at our Lindholmen site in Gothenburg. The job implies close cooperation with several other leaders in Gothenburg and other sites in Europe, China and India. The role is part of the Leadership Team of department Continuous integration and Continuous deployment. The department Head is also located in Gothenburg.

You will

Every manager role in department GW CI&CD combines two main lines of work.

First of all you'll be Line Manager for 1 or 2 Agile teams of Testers and for a group of skilled Agile Project Leaders relevant to your focus area. This includes all usual tasks associated to line responsibility.

Secondly, you'll work as servant leader and change agent in the specific focus area Continuous Delivery and Release, which makes you accountable for
  • Release and Maintenance Programs, and for their capability to execute smoothly
  • Securing that our artifacts (code, documentation, tests...) are delivered with expected time and quality

We also want you to take the lead in establishing a vibrant Community of Practice focusing on Leadership, with the ambition to grow it across the larger organization.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Extensive experience in diverse leadership roles in SW Development organization (in particular Agile Program Management), and eagerness to continuously learn in the leadership domain. Experience in SW Delivery is a stong plus
  • Great track record as Change Leader: we want to hear in which ways you have been helping the evolution of organizations and people
  • Expereince working according to Lean and Agile methodologies and proven experience in Lean Flow analysis is a strong plus
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills, genuine interest in people: you finding it motivating to work in teams and with teams
  • Large degree of flexibility, willingness to adapt and engage different tasks
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to speak & write English fluently
