Our Exciting Opportunity!

We are looking for a Linux Senior Developer to work in the 5G cloud native product portfolio. You will be working in a X-functional team developing Linux services, products, and tools. Our teams are X-functional, self-organizing, international, and highly independent. The team has an end-to-end responsibility, from requirements breakdown, prototyping, implementing, design and modeling, test automation, integration and troubleshooting all the way to supporting applications around the world!

You'll be a senior member working directly with your Product Owner and stakeholders in a collaborative manner, while engaging with many developers across the company.

You will

  • Drive strategic technical leadership and contribute to the Open Source Community
  • Be a key driver of AI initiatives within Digital Services
  • Grow and mentor the team
  • Perform continuous analysis of customers and partners' requirements.
  • Develop and test high quality products
  • Perform trouble shooting and facilitate customer support as a specialist
  • Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
  • Develop competence in security area
  • Drive technology roadmap and interact as technical specialist with key Linux Suppliers

To be successful in the role you have

  • MSc/BSc level in Computer Science or the equivalent level of knowledge
  • Experience in Linux development and troubleshooting
  • Experience in security area for Linux based distributed systems
  • Worked with Python, Perl, Bash or other shell scripting
  • Knowledge in Distributed systems/clusters, virtualization- and container technologies, such as KVM, Docker and Kubernetes
  • Advantage to have experience with golang
  • Advantage to have experience with JCAT test framework and Java
  • Advantage to have experience with Jenkins and pipeline programming
  • Mandatory to have basic Kubernetes knowledge, would be an advantage to have even more experience.
  • Good to have experience with Helm programming
  • Good to have experience with Linux script programming
  • Awareness of AI
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Basic knowledge about Scrum/Agile
  • Be transparent about progress and impediments
  • Good cooperation & communication skills
  • Excellent skills in spoken and written English
