Our Exciting Opportunity

We are now looking for an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Strategic Product Manager within SA Digital Workspace Client Solutions. In this role, you will direct assigned Products and Solutions during the different phases of the Products/Services Life Cycle, meeting Ericsson internal needs and securing business value. The scope of this role is all End User Computing services (Windows 10, MacBook, Linux Ubuntu Desktop, Citrix Virtual Desktop & Apps), Monitors and peripherals in Office and Home Workspace, and the managed print solution.

In this role as Strategic Product Manager you will act as team leader of the core team consisting of Technical Product Managers, Service Manager, Data analysts, Experience leads, Technical SMEs, vendor and supplier resources. You are accountable for the product development and roadmap including the Total Cost of Ownership. You are the project sponsor for all projects executed within the portfolio.

About Digital Workspace Client Solutions

Client Solutions deliver managed workplace solutions (MWPs) to all Ericsson workforce. We deliver approx. 130.000 endpoints in a multi-OS environment including Virtual Desktops and Applications to approx. 15.000 users. Client Solutions is also responsible for Endpoint Security and Protection, including Remote Access, Certificates, Strong Authentication services. We also host the operations and support team for MacOS (EMB) and Linux Ubuntu (ELX). During 2020-2023 we are investing heavily in modernizing the client estate and the management capabilities by leveraging 5G-connectivity, cloud services, built in security with native capabilities for physical endpoint and virtual workloads.

Our mission is to deliver the industry leading client solution to our Ericsson workforce. We do this based on our core principles, End-user experience, Security, Sustainability, and Economies of scale.

Responsibilities:

  • You will define portfolio strategy, roadmap and optimize portfolio Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
  • Document and maintain strategy, roadmap and other relevant product information
  • You will support the development of domain target architecture
  • Prepare & drive portfolio/product decisions and safeguard portfolio execution plans
  • You will lead and drive core team consisting of Technical Product Managers, Service Managers, Data analysts
  • You will also drive portfolio competence and business readiness



Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum years of experience: 12
  • Domain experience: ICT, Cloud, End User Computing, Cyber Security


Additional Requirements:
  • Strong track record of End User Computing transformation in enterprise environments.
  • Genuine interest and knowledge of developing workspace solutions with industry leading user experience
  • Deep knowledge of Windows 10, MacOS, Linux Ubuntu, Citrix Workspace, and managed print solutions.
  • Experience of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM & Intune), Jamf, Puppet, Citrix Workspace or other VDI platforms.
  • Experience of next generation Endpoint Security solutions, e.g. CrowdStrike Falcon or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
  • Experience of leading others, e.g. team lead, line manager, senior project manager.
  • Have an established network in the industry.
  • Experience of multi-vendor landscape and outsourcing.
  • Strong presentation skills for executive and technical audiences.
  • Genuine interest in/Knowledge of Business management.
  • IT processes, tools, and infrastructure.
  • Security, Compliance and Privacy skills.
  • Financial acumen and skills.
  • Business modeling skills.
  • Learning and researching.
