Our Exciting Opportunity

Ericsson Group IT plays a vital role in the Public Cloud journey for Ericsson. Group IT is building the formal company-wide "Landing Zones" that Ericsson's business lines as well as IT organizations are going to use for their consumption of cloud services. This means that it is a large-scale business with many dependencies in it that must evolve constantly.

We are now looking for a FinOps Specialist to be part of our team!

FinOps is a growing and important area in our cloud journey to help the consumers of public cloud on spend and optimization.

Your role will be to make sure that consumers understand the FinOps model within the company and how to apply it for the different public cloud platforms: AWS, GCP and Azure.

The role and position are within Ericsson Group IT but you will interact with colleagues in the entire company as Group IT is enabling Public Cloud consumption for all organizations at Ericsson.

You will

  • Design and Drive Process Metrics.
  • Providie financial analysis to prioritize and lead cost reduction efforts.
  • Collect and analyze quantitative data.
  • Execute and implement compliance procedures.
  • Perform Audit of processes.
  • Support data analysis, process reengineering and development.
  • Communicate results to business leaders within Finance, Accounting, Operations and Business Development.
  • Work with the functional leaders and other internal groups to build scalable processes.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Basic understanding of the different public clouds, AWS, Azure and GCP
  • Good understanding of Accounting/Finance
  • SAP Knowledge
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with the Microsoft suite
  • Proven skills to develop new ideas and creative solutions
  • Demonstrable ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload

Additional qualification

  • Managerial experience is desirable
