Our Exciting Opportunity

Ericsson Group IT plays a vital role in the Public Cloud journey for Ericsson. Group IT is building the formal company-wide "Landing Zones" that Ericsson's business lines as well as IT organizations are going to use for their consumption of cloud services. This means that it is a large-scale business with many dependencies in it that must evolve constantly.

We are now looking for a Cloud Security and Compliance Manager to be part of our team. Security demands are growing, now and even more in the future!

Your role will be to make sure that applied security is always at the heart of everything we do on the target Public Clouds that we enable for Ericsson.

The role and position are within Ericsson Group IT but you will have the great opportunity to interact with colleagues in the entire company as Group IT is enabling Public Cloud consumption for all organizations at Ericsson.

You will

  • Be working with security in all our cloud environments and different Landing Zones, to ensure that the public clouds meet the security requirements
  • Be an integral part of the Public Cloud team at Group IT, in addition to providing security support to customers that are in the onboarding phase
  • Work closely together with the security team to translate existing demands into a public cloud environment needs, support in updating the security framework
  • Have close interaction with cloud architects and developers as well as cloud suppliers
  • Drive changes within Group IT as well as with business partners, transform business and IT offerings through native cloud technology

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering or a related technical field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with a solid background of security in cloud environment; software development and/or advanced cloud configuration management in Azure/AWS/GCP is a plus
  • Understanding of the Public Clouds and "Landing Zones" and fluency in software business practices such as DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, development policies is highly preferable
  • Security experience from Public Cloud and cloud environment
  • Ability to handle rather stressful situations
  • Clear communication skills and ability to engage and interact with partners at all levels, understanding their requirements and needs
  • Experience of working with teams using Agile methodology
