Our Exciting Opportunity

Our unit, Radio Products Sweden, strives to be the most innovative Radio Network R&D unit in the industry. We work in an agile set up to develop and maintain high-quality Radio products which give our customers solutions for the future. We are now bringing the 5G radios to the market.

We work with the newest technology within telecommunication development. The work offers many opportunities for everyday learning in a creative and innovative atmosphere in Kista, Stockholm.

We are looking for newly graduated Software Developers to contribute to Ericsson's world leading 5G radio product portfolio!

The software development is done in self organizing teams, that design, craft and test the software and take a joint responsibility from start to release. Product development is done in C++ and the functional testing is done in Java.

You will
  • Work in a multi-functional team with responsibility from pre-study to release and customer acceptance for new functionality.
  • Develop radio features in C++, involving also accesses to HW accelerators.
  • Take in a sophisticated system and do detailed troubleshooting
  • Develop specific domain competence but also work outside your own subject area
  • Contribute with competence fresh from school

You will in this role report to Section Manager Radio SW.

To be successful in the role you must have
  • A Master's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or Wireless Communication or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of meaningful work experience in SW development or newly graduated from a master's program.
  • Willingness to broaden your competence and get a deeper understanding of our products
  • Knowledge and experience in programming using object-oriented languages (C++) and Java
  • Knowledge on HW near programming
  • Competence in Linux
  • Familiarity with Jenkins, GIT, Eclipse, Vscode
  • Understanding of continuous integration, test and troubleshooting skills in the radio domain
