Our Exciting Opportunity

Development Service Infrastructure (DSI) within Development Unit Networks (DNEW), has the mission to enable efficient development worldwide with our engineering environment as a driven advantage, for present and future business needs. This is achieved by enabling flow and openness, improve collaboration with aligned way of working as well as optimizing efficiency through infrastructure sharing. The STP & NW Infrastructure (SNI) Sector within DSI is responsible for supplying System Test Plants and NW Infrastructure required for DNEW Product Development.

ESP (EcoSystem and Product) Program provides an ecosystem and infrastructure to the engineers, so they can quickly innovate, develop and deploy value to, and with, our customers.

This Ecosystem and Infrastructure will be an Engineer Centric end to end Program that will accelerate the development, maintenance and evolvement of both the Product and the Production.

We are now looking for a Test Manager for the Solution Design sub-program.

Our aim is to have an efficient Test Environment (TE) based on modern tools, from SW commit to customer deployment. The Test Manager will be part of Solution Design Program with focus on new product, tools and infrastructure requirements being coordinated, tested, and delivered as offerings with high quality. The function supports the complete software development cycle and work in close cooperation with functions like Program Managers, Technical Coordinators, Integration Leaders, product near development teams, system & capability guardians to ensure offerings are kept together. The responsibility also requires close interaction with external functions, primarily DNEW PDU Test Managers

You will

  • Be responsible for overall Test Management including Test Strategy, planning, Test Design, supply, execution and successful roll outs
  • Do risk prediction, identification, analysis, mitigation plans and highlighting risks at right time to right teams
  • Contribute to test analysis in early development phases in various fora, to secure relevant and timely testing
  • Closely Coordinate with the program and interfacing partners (internal & customer)
  • Provide direction to the ESTs/OPO, resolve blocking issues, coordinate with other teams etc.
  • Identify and enable STP re-use across existing deployed inventory including lab space re-use and direction for build avoidance strategy
  • Be a prime interface towards PDUs for smooth supply flow and secure delivery as per important metric targets


To be successful in the role you have

  • M.Sc or other relevant education on similar level, or corresponding work experience
  • Deep understanding of SW development with job experience as Test Manager
  • Solid understanding and experience of R&D processes, including lean & agile practices
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Business and customer focus, with a high accountability to deliver results
  • A quality attitude, ability for critical thinking and a drive to always improve
  • A High degree of flexibility and willingness to take on different tasks
  • Proven track record to negotiate and collaborate to reach solutions in a multi partner environment
  • Knowledge of technical architecture standards, security and frameworks
  • Experience in working in agile teams, collaborating with teams and fields
  • Experience from RAN domain and from Internal tools such as MJE, TGF, FsUE is a plus
