Our Exciting Opportunity

Group Data and Analytics (GDA) in Group IT is a function with the aim to shape and execute our Data and Analytics strategy, ensure cross-business and cross-functional execution for Ericsson to transform the company into an Intelligent enterprise. Data and Analytics are key themes for Ericsson to become data driven, and we continue to build up world class competence in this area to increase performance, deliver intelligence, and to ensure secure and scalable development, deployment and continued operations of Data and Analytics solutions. The Intelligent Analytics Product Area from GDA is one of the key offerings to enable Ericsson to become a data driven organization.

Intelligent Analytics Product Area and the purpose of the role

Analytics is a key theme for Ericsson to empower the workforce with intelligent insights. We continue to build up outstanding competence in analytics to increase performance, deliver intelligence and to ensure secure and scalable development, and deployment. Analytics is an important component of any digital transformation journey and we enable that through our Intelligent Analytics Products offering.

In the Intelligent Analytics Product Area, we deliver enhanced experience and insights to users by using for example
  • Advanced analytics techniques
  • Augmented analytics
  • Embedded analytics
  • Streaming analytics

This Product Area not only designs and builds new solutions but also migrate existing solutions into more intelligent products using next-gen analytics techniques.

You will be responsible for setting up and managing the new Intelligent Analytics Product (IAP) Area. You have the opportunity and responsibility to establish what the Product Area will deliver, in collaboration with other leaders and professionals in Group Data & Analytics and through your interaction with partners. The Product Area will, over time, have multiple digital products, each of them led by a Digital Product Owner.

You will be responsible for establishing the Product Area, defining the product area strategy and roadmap, collaborate with partners to prioritize requirements, delivering on prioritized objectives in collaboration with other work units, develop core positioning and messaging for the digital products, manage the overall budget to ensure product area success and drive the roadmap, develop the business case and articulate value of the digital products.

This position reports to the Head of Group Data and Analytics.

You will

  • Develop the strategy to evolve intelligent analytics to support Ericsson business opportunities.
  • Define the scope of work in the Intelligent Analytics Product Area and develop a roadmap for Product Area deliverables in collaboration with the Solutions Portfolio team
  • Interact with various partners
  • Take end-to-end responsibility of Intelligent Analytics Products Lifecycle Management
  • Design plans to meet current and long-term intelligent analytics requirements for each of the intelligent analytics products
  • Manage budget and prioritization
  • Work with Product Area Managers and Digital Product Owners of Data & Analytics Platforms, Self Service, Data Foundation, to ensure high quality analytics products to the business partners

Preferred Qualification and Experience Requirements

  • University degree in data management and/or system management and/or engineering
  • Experience in data & analytics
  • Experience of working in analytics strategy and solutions portfolio, advanced and next-gen analytics, analytics platforms, data management and governance
