Our Exciting Opportunity

We search for you who appreciate working in an organisation where your systemization and design is a basis for the whole SW development of all radio products. You are curious and appreciate technical challenges. You enjoy working in international teams with highly proficient colleagues. We value if you also contribute to the development environment.

A working day may start with a two hours of focussed work on your current development task. At 9.45 you have the daily meeting with your team. You go through the progress of all team member's tasks, and a few issues are resolved.

In the afternoon there is a white board discussion in a study where you are contributing. The architects draw the overall picture, and when the detailed systemization is discussed, you bring up an idea you have thought about for a while. You also clarify the existing design.

You will

  • Take part in studies where we are impacted in collaboration with our architect and technical leaders
  • Be part of our technical discussions and reviews
  • Bring up issues for coordination and decision in our technical council.
  • Write in our IP or delta-IP about your contribution to the design
  • Implement
  • Write test cases
  • Add content to our User guide and Dependency documents
  • Answer questions from colleagues in interfacing organizations
  • Solve TRs, contribute in task forces

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Strong technical background in SW close to HW
  • Proficiency primarily in C, and we use Python and Bash also. Other tools used in the team are bitbake, yocto, jenkins, jira.
  • Knowledge about working in Linux
  • Appraisal of working in a complex system with many dependencies and high quality
  • Curiosity and willingness to take technical leadership is valued in our team.
