Our Exciting Opportunity

In the system department, we work in different technical and functional areas to cover the total radio functionality within the whole radio product portfolio for Ericsson; covering 4G, 5G and the future.

We are now looking for a Radio Product Cost Analyst with the goal to improve product cost competitiveness!

Focus in this role is to compare cost levels for different design options, suggest improvements for cost drivers in projects. We coordinate in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

You will
  • Secure component volume price from different category strategy sourcing managers and project sourcing managers (contract and forward pricing), secure implementation into analysis tool
  • Perform risk analysis on price reliability
  • Perform Direct Material (DM) cost and Manufacturing Cost (MC) follow-up on Radio unit and object/module level with analysis tool
  • Be actively involved before technical decisions during project execution phase to secure MC-awareness
  • Support project, design and sourcing team for cost reduction activities
  • Visualize and address any delta of MC versus target, to partners.
  • Present project cost situation for partners (project, program, SPM)
  • Drive continuous improvements of products and processes


You will in this role report to Section Manager System Lead.

To be successful in the role you must have
  • A Bachelor or master's degree in a technical and/or financial field or the equivalent level of knowledge.
  • Good planning and organizing skills
  • Social skills, collaboration with colleague's and networking
  • Highly developed analytical skill and a strong self-motivation
  • Understanding of Product Life Cycle Management (PLCM) & product structures
  • Strong Communication and Presentation Skills
  • Excellent English Skills, both written and spoken.
