Our Exciting Opportunity

Product Development Unit Radio (PDU Radio) drives the end-to-end research and development of Ericsson's radio products and solutions. We are a global organization, within Development Unit Networks (DNEW), of approximately 3,000 engineers and developers collaborating across nine sites in Canada, China and Sweden to drive Ericsson's strategy of securing our ongoing market leadership in radio, taking a leadership position in 5G!

Radio Products Sweden 2 (RPSE2) is responsible for major parts of the Ericsson mmWave portfolio in 5G, and we drive radio product development in all phases of the development cycle with focus on technology leadership, efficient ways of working and short time to market for our products!

To strengthen our Systems design organization we are now looking for a passionate and driven manager to lead the Radio Product Performance Systems team. In this role you will be responsible for a dedicated and experienced team systemizing radio solutions from technology studies and opportunity analysis (OA) to end of life cycle, ensuring efficient development and maintenance of the whole portfolio and our SW asset. You will also secure efficient technology introduction and development speed through modularization and reuse.

The position is based in Lund and may require travel to other PDU Radio sites in Sweden, China and Canada.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Strong product development background
  • Experience in Radio HW and RF performance systemization, performance test and standardisation
  • Experience in product requirements management and tools
  • Demonstrated hunger to deliver what the customer needs when they need it
  • Significant experience leading development teams, with strong domain knowledge to have the needed credibility with our teams, our customers and suppliers
