Then you might be the one we are searching for!

We are recruiting a Software Developer to our automation team responsible for an automation factory running BSS (Business Support System) traffic engines to secure e2e BSS scenarios. Our vision is to enable our verification engineers to build automated test easily and efficiently without extensive programming skills. The automation team belongs to a distributed team located primarily in Karlskrona and Brazil, also known as BEAM IT, whose mission is early system integration and functional verification.

The business is undergoing a technology transformation where Cloud Native principles and automation are corner stones. This means opportunities to learn new technologies as well as innovation opportunities to improve efficiency.

We can also offer the possibility to build competence in the BSS area by taking part in our testing activities, even if this will not be the primarily task.

The successful candidate has an active learning mentality and never stop learning and are curious finding new ways to improve their skill. Friendly and compassionate willing to share knowledge with fellow colleagues. Can take own responsibility and work independently and act as a scout exploring new technical domains.

You will

  • Participate in software implementation and contribute to a team developing and evolving our automation factory.
  • Support and coach the verification engineers when building new test cases using the tools and frameworks provided by your team.
  • Identify, argue, and drive improvements to improve efficiency.
  • Explore and build up competence in technical domain and tools.

To be successful in the role you should have

  • Master's or Bachelor´s Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Extensive interest and programming skills in general and Java and Python specifically
  • Passion for Software Craftmanship and interest in Software Testing.
  • Experience in Linux environments and tools like Git, Gerrit, Maven, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Docker, Kubernetes etc.
  • Know and embrace Lean & Agile principles and like to work in team environment.
  • Proficient English skills, both written and verbal

Meriting if haven knowledge or experience in DevOps and Cloud Native principles.
