There has never been a better time for you to make your mark. The possibilities are endless across industries - from automotive and transport to agriculture, utilities, and more.

The foundation for these use cases is built through an agile cloud environment that covers a wide range of edge and central network locations. Software Defined Infrastructure is the hardware management layer that is key for enabling an agile cloud, and our team is responsible for the system and software architecture that makes this happen. • Work includes performing conceptual system studies to support business decisions, building proofs of product as well as implementing some of the functionality together with the developers using a state-of-the art development and continuous integration environment.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • You love working in a small team and interact well with other people in a positive, low-ego and collaborative environment
  • You are comfortable bringing clarity and focus to widely specified assignments by interacting with the stakeholders and adapting fast to changing requirements
  • You enjoy exploring technical problem solving in creative ways and understand responsible experimentation
  • You are truly passionate about creating clean code and have a solid computer science foundation
  • You enjoy learning new technologies, move between different software stacks and helping others along the same journey

You have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent discipline, or the equivalent level of knowledge. We assume that you can speak and write in fluent English.

You need to have demonstratable hands-on experience in some of the following technologies:
  • Programming languages: Java (including Sprig Cloud, Quarkus and Micronaut), Python, Golang
  • Database technologies through Java (Persistence API, Hibernate) and cloud-native relational databases (Vitesse)
  • On-premises cloud platforms: containers, Kubernetes, CNCF projects
  • CI/CD knowledge, as this is an integral part of cloud-native development
