Our Exciting Opportunity

We are looking for a Test Automation Developerto improve testing of our world class baseband products. The tests verify our base station's functionality end to end including Ericsson's Digital Units and Radio Units.

You will

  • Create stable and reliable automated test cases with Ericsson's internal test frameworks based on Java and other open source technologies.
  • Improve test cases and tools to increase execution speed and reliability.
  • Debug failing test cases together with the feature development team and testers.
  • Work in a diverse team with both testers and Test Automation Developers.
  • Cooperate with Cross Functional Development Teams and Project Managers in early phase of feature development to specify test requirements and test cases eligible for automation.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • A Master of Science degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Wireless Communication, Applied Physics or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in working with test automation and continuous integration.
  • Proficiency in Java programming language
  • A forward-thinking, hardworking and creative personality. You are an outstanding teammate who enjoys a fast-paced work environment and embraces challenge.
  • Love for multicultural environment and appetite for cutting-edge technology.
  • Expertise in LTE and 5G technologies

In addition, we value knowledge and experience in JCAT/MJE test frameworks, RF measurement instruments (e.g. spectrum analyser) and Viavi UE simulators.
