Our Exciting Opportunity

In this role you will be responsible for design of the end-to-end solution of Ericsson IT cloud services. This includes defining the product, service scope, service level agreements, tools and automation solution, the delivery structure, governance and locations, partner services (such as data centre and public cloud, or field support). This includes leading a consolidated technology and product roadmap for the unit supported by the product organization. The Service Spectrum includes cloud & data centre, network, security, Identity and Access, CI/CD and SRE service. The clear focus is on enable Ericsson business needs and enabling Ericsson's digital transformation to public cloud services.

Work closely with Ericsson Business and product owners and therefore requires a strong mix of discernment and solution shaping as well as content expertise.

This role will be encouraged to get agreement to the solution from the Ericsson business team, Ericsson's delivery organization, and the legal and commercial teams. Needs to craft a winning solution taking all these different points of view into account.

It is an integral part of this role is to own, run and ensure the quality of the content that defines and is used to present the solution. This includes solution material, presentation material, workshop presentations, due diligence content, and Q&A content. It includes the written documents along with the oral presentation of content also including the product and delivery team.

This role will be the owner of the Ericsson IT Cloud Architecture in the Ericsson Technical Road Map with an Ericsson wide cover.

The right person has strong solution content and is an ‘enabler' and facilitator that can drive a business unit team and Group IT team to conclude on a solution beneficial for both the business area and Group IT. You have a can-do attitude and combines commercial and content skills.

You will

  • Own the solution for all infrastructure components with focus on cloud delivery within Group IT and for enabling all cloud services PA deliveries in the TAMP.
  • Own and drive cross PA roadmap and blueprint designs to get a complete and holistic view
  • Bring to bear Ericsson and Partner assets and third-party relationships in architecting solutions
  • Work alongside Group IT teams to manage the Ericsson business opportunities and challenges crafting compelling solutions
  • Bring the operational experience to bear to ensure the solution is deliverable at acceptable risk to Ericsson
  • Develop and negotiate contract content to ensure the infrastructure solution is contracted to deliver Ericsson value
  • Build strong links with and working collaboratively with Ericsson Corporation to ensure holistic solutions, transition and delivery


To be successful in the role you must have

  • Consistent record in defining, architecting and define cloud-centric infrastructure managed services solutions.
  • Public Cloud services understanding
  • IT infra structure, Network design including, routing, FW, different WAN solutions, MPLS, network security
  • Access management such as IAM, IDM, API management, PAM, Service Mesh Authentication & Authorization.
  • CI/CD, Micro services
  • Experience in sophisticated solution team management
  • Experience in architecting significant infrastructure solutions
  • Operational Tooling, Automation, Analytics
  • Service Management & ITIL
  • Data Centre and Private/Hybrid Operations
  • Excellent client / customer relationship leadership skills at the executive level
  • Extensive client / customer service management skill
  • Good people leadership skills
  • Agile ways of working is a prerequisite
