Our Exciting Opportunity

5G networks are evolving rapidly and the need for new and different radio products are growing. The radio products have a huge impact on Ericsson bottom line and are therefore close to business and close to top management. The possibilities are endless, and we need an experienced Configuration Manager for the evolution of radio unit product structure and the ever-growing radio product portfolio.

You will

  • Drive strategic technical leadership
  • Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling
  • Develop and test high-quality products
  • Document and architect solutions
  • Perform troubleshooting and customer support activities
  • Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
  • Develop competence in Cloud RAN domain

To be successful in the role you must have

At least 5 years of RAN telecommunication development, integration or configuration working experience

  • Deep understanding of 3GPP concepts and protocols
  • Experience in RAN standards LTE/5G and other standards desirable
  • Understanding of RAN & Radio system configuration
  • Baseband software troubleshooting, development and configuration
  • Familiarity with SW management in Telecommunication networks (SW upgrades, license file mgmt etc.)
  • Experience from using GIT, Jira and Confluence
  • Software development experience in Python
  • Experience from Life Cycle Management using Saltstack or similar
  • Fantastic personal network in BNEW

Additional qualifications

Hands-on experience from and familiarity with Ericsson Management Object Model (MOM) and RBS products is a plus Knowledge of Ericsson Radio System (Baseband, Radio Units, etc) is an advantage
