About Radio Products Sweden 1

Radio Products Sweden 1 is one of the sectors in Product Development Unit (PDU) Radio responsible for the development of radios within all segments in the Ericsson Radio System portfolio. The Transceiver (TRX) 1 manager position will reside within the Hardware Design 1 department and report to the Head of Hardware Design 1.

Job Summary

We are now looking for a skilled line manager to secure Ericsson's transceiver technology leadership and make sure we have the right scope, quality, time and cost focus to support our product development. As a TRX line manager, you will teach, coach, challenge and develop individuals and teams. You will foster a creative and learning can-do culture. The team consists of around 15 highly skilled engineers all working with state-of-the art technology in close collaboration with the global electronics/RF eco-system.

The position will be based in Stockholm.


  • Drive technology and product leadership within the domain

  • Drive internal efficiency and cost-effective solutions
  • Ensure an efficient development and maintenance of all products assigned
  • Drive accountability for quality assurance throughout the team
  • Represent Hardware Design in key customer and supplier interfaces
  • Resource and competence planning for the team


Product Delivery: The candidate will display experience in driving a team to deliver high quality hardware in time to market schedules.

Technology Development: Driving new technology is the key to Ericsson's future success. The candidate will demonstrate understanding of transceiver technologies and the role it plays in achieving Ericsson goals in the areas of technology leadership, radio evolution and product cost.

Collaboration: Collaboration is key to successful deliveries of products and technology. The candidate will lead by example to help the TRX team to collaborate effectively both locally and globally.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Technical education at a university level is required, M.Sc. preferred.
  • Fully embraces the Ericsson Leadership Framework
  • Min years of experience within product development: 7 years
  • Domain experience:
    • Analogue RF
    • Transceiver Design
    • Low level driver SW/FW for advanced circuits
