Our Exciting Opportunity

A key member of the Product Area - Intelligent Analytics within Group IT, responsible to drive the development and adoption of Intelligent, Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning solutions across Ericsson

Responsible for leading the development of scientific methods, processes, and systems to extract knowledge or insights to drive the future of applied analytics.

Responsible to provide thought leadership, perform Advanced Statistical Analytics, and build Machine Learning powered solutions, identify trends, and measure performance that addresses business problems. In addition, collaborate with business and process owners to understand business issues, and with engineers to implement and deploy scalable solutions, where applicable.

You will

  • Perform Decision science leadership
  • Synthesize problems into data question(s)
  • Manage & deliver decision science portfolio for target customers
  • Decide approach to business problems Design & perform data experiments
  • Develop Intelligent/Advanced Analytics Infrastructure &Tools
  • Convert data into meaningful insights.
  • Act in external relations
  • Have a proven understanding of Statistics, e.g., hypothesis formulation, hypothesis testing, descriptive analysis, and data exploration.
  • A genuine interest in new and applied technology and software engineering coupled with a high degree of business understanding
  • Any applied research contributions to the community in terms of technical papers and patents are encouraged
  • Demonstrated skills in Machine Learning, e.g., linear/logistics regression discriminant analysis, bagging, random forest, Bayesian model, SVM, neural networks, etc.
  • Strong Programming skills in various languages (Python, Scala, R)
  • Strong skills in the use of current state of the art machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, H2O, Keras, TensorFlow, and Spark
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex results to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Versatility and willingness to learn new technologies on the job

This is a technical leadership role. Evangelization, customer/stakeholder management, liaison with senior leadership to turn them into successful Intelligent/Sophisticated analytics engagements is an expectation.

Minimum qualification and experience requirements:

  • Education: BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or related field; Certifying MI MOOCS can be a compliment
  • Proven experience required
  • Evidence of academic training in Statistics
