Are you a highly dedicated person who's not afraid to lead a team of Network Engineers/IP Specialists who operate Network Backbone for cloud environment and digging into the data and problem solving? The Network Team at Ericsson is responsible for design and operation of network backbone and infrastructure for cloud environment in different data centers targeting for cloud native IoT and 5G applications.

If you're passionate about networking, network automation and want to lead one of Ericsson's Network Teams and collaborate with many different teams within Shared Target Cloud e.g., operations, service delivery, solutions architects and also shared target cloud users, and love working with Network Engineers/IP Specialists and Linux sysadmins, this position will be a great opportunity for you.

  • A state of the art full stack cloud native development environment
  • Create meaningful monitoring, logging, alerting, and responses to issues proactively
  • Network, scaling, performance tuning and trouble shooting

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Good leadership and social skills
  • Deep knowledge in operating large networks in multiple data centers
  • Deep knowledge in different network brands, like Cisco, Juniper
  • Deep Knowledge in Routing/Network protocols bgp,ospf, hsrp,vrrp,
  • Firewall understanding
  • Experience to work online with team members in different countries
  • Capability to work with multiple projects at the same time
  • Linux system administration Ubuntu, Centos, Redhat
  • Good knowledge in monitoring tool Observium and snmp
  • Deep knowledge in bigger Network designs
  • Experience with Rancid
  • Experience with syslog
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience with Ansible
  • Experience with AWX
  • Experience with TACACs
  • Basic Knowledge HP, DELL, HDS
  • Ability to solve problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Motivation to constantly seek new ways to improve system performance
  • Pride in customer relation and exceeding customer expectations
  • Passion about seamless uptime and infrastructure resiliency to failures
  • Delight in building tools to automate routine tasks, organized, detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to have direct communication with stakeholders and customers
  • Flexible working hours to handle on-call duty
