We are now looking into strengthening our team with one ASIC validation project manager.

The SoC Validation team, which is part of Digital ASIC and FPGA in Lund, has the assignment, in cooperation with Kista, to perform HW Lab Verification and Validation activities for FPGA and ASIC Radio products.

We are Project Manager, for ASIC validation team, to ensure coming digital ASIC are performing per requirements and that it is introduced into coming radio development programs according to the plans.

Your role will include the validation execution with right scope, quality and time for product development projects.

You will

  • Manage the team/the project, which requires you to have in-depth understanding of the development process
  • In close collaboration with the target projects, plan how to introduce new ASICs into our platform products
  • Be responsible for validation team and execute according to project/validation plan
  • Be a part of global governance and support design sites with needed knowledge in the area
  • Be an Owner of Project critical metric including budget/time/quality/scope management
  • Contact with Internal & External partner management including R&D, Supply, Sourcing, Product manager, Program manager
  • Be accountable to defined process execution and conduct lesson learn to accumulate organization process assets.
  • Be a virtual team driver to build team spirit in a "strong matrix project management mode"
  • Be responsible for routine project reporting to higher level management team to share the status and require support needed
  • Dedicate the professional spirit to simplify and structure sophisticated tasks
  • Manage the risk, understand and deal with daily tasks and challenges
  • Mentor & manage Knowledge Sharing and Learning
  • Manage the flow optimization, innovation and improvements


To be successful in the role you have

  • MSc or BSc level in a technical subject area or the equivalent level of knowledge
  • Solid experience in product development as a designer and/or technical leader
  • English Skills both verbal and in written
  • Experience in ASIC design and/or electronic design
  • Result oriented approach with a possibility to take own initiatives and drive improvements
  • Excellent cooperation and networking skills Knowledge in Product development and Product Lifecycle Management
  • Business understanding
  • Innovative and adaptive to change approach
  • Solid leadership and excellent communication skills
  • Delivering results and meeting customer expectations attitude
